  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm the milk and butter until combined, then add to dry ingredients with eggs and mix to form dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, then let it rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with melted butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and bacon.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and slice into 1-inch pieces, placing them in a baking dish.
  6. Cover the dish with a towel and let rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with warm maple syrup before serving.
