A delightful no-bake dessert of layered coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2430 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Brew the Coffee Mix: In a bowl, mix the cooled coffee with a splash of coffee liqueur if desired.
  2. Whisk the Egg Yolks and Sugar: In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
  3. Incorporate the Mascarpone Cheese: Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the egg mixture until smooth.
  4. Whip the Heavy Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the Whipped Cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Prepare the Ladyfingers: Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for just a second and layer in your serving dish.
  7. Layer the Mascarpone Mixture: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat the Layering: Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  9. Chill: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Dust with Cocoa Powder: Before serving, dust with cocoa powder for that final touch of elegance.
