A deliciously seasoned baked salmon that captures the essence of Texas Roadhouse flavors, featuring garlic, smoked paprika, and a hint of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (Extra virgin recommended)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (Substitutes available: regular paprika or cayenne)
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 piece lemon, sliced (For topping)
  • Fresh parsley (For garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the marinade by whisking together olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper with the marinade.
  4. Add lemon slices on top of the salmon.
  5. Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Check salmon at the 15-minute mark to avoid overcooking. Can be served with roasted vegetables or a light salad.
