Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and Sriracha for the marinade.
  3. Marinate the pork tenderloin in the marinade for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Prepare the pork by removing it from the marinade and letting it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  5. Sear the pork tenderloin in a hot skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. Roast the pork in the oven with the reserved marinade for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Rest the pork for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Slice the pork into medallions and serve with the remaining sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate the pork overnight and don’t skip on searing.
