A hearty and refreshing steak salad with grilled steak, fresh greens, avocado, and blue cheese, drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye)
  • 8 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season and grill the steak generously with salt and pepper, allowing it to soak in the flavor. Grill or pan-sear it to your desired doneness, then let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Gather the mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced avocado, thinly sliced red onion, and crumbled blue cheese in a large bowl.
  3. Slice the rested steak thinly against the grain and add the slices on top of the salad.
  4. Dress the salad with balsamic vinaigrette and toss gently to coat everything. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra heartiness, consider serving with crusty bread or grilled corn on the cob. Keep dressing separate for leftovers.
