Comforting Spinach Ricotta Stuffed Shells filled with creamy cheese and fresh spinach, smothered in marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Spinach
  • Marinara sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese and spinach mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and pour the remaining marinara sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle additional mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the stuffed shells.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread, and can be frozen unbaked for up to 3 months.
