A comforting baked pasta dish featuring creamy ricotta, fresh spinach, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Mix the cooked pasta with ricotta cheese, fresh spinach, marinara sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl.
  4. Layer half of the pasta mixture in a baking dish, then half the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and drizzle with olive oil on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days in an airtight container. Can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
