  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the ricotta cheese, sugar, and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the almond extract and egg, mixing until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until a soft dough forms.

  7. Roll out the dough into ropes and twist them together to form spiraled shapes.
