Delightful cookies that combine the richness of cheesecake with sweet bursts of fresh blueberries.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add in the granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in the fresh blueberries gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
