  • 45 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: spices (like smoked paprika, thyme, or cumin)

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add the seasoned brisket on top of the onion and garlic.
  4. Combine beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl, then pour over the brisket.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Once cooked, let the brisket rest, then slice and serve.
