A comforting yet indulgent Italian dish featuring fettuccine pasta, savory steak, and a creamy Gorgonzola Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside while you prepare the savory sauce.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant, ensuring you don’t burn it.
  4. Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring it to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan and Gorgonzola cheeses until they melt into a creamy sauce.
  5. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce, coating each strand.
  6. Slice the rested steak and serve it over the pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the steak in garlic and herbs before cooking. Substitute Gorgonzola with blue cheese or feta if preferred.
