Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms and Cauliflower

A delightful and simple dish showcasing the rich flavors of mushrooms and the sweetness of cauliflower, perfect as a side dish or a vegetarian main course.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned and tender.
  4. Stir in cauliflower florets, seasoned with salt and pepper, and continue to cook for another 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with quinoa or rice. Can also be served alongside grilled chicken or fish.
