Warm and flaky breakfast puffs filled with savory sausage, creamy scrambled eggs, and rich cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Ground sausage
  • Eggs
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Whisk together eggs, a splash of milk, salt, and pepper; pour into the skillet and scramble until just set.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 3×3 inch squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of sausage and egg mixture on each square, sprinkle with cheese, and fold over to seal.
  6. Bake the puffs in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For flakier puffs, keep the pastry cold until ready to use. Feel free to experiment with different fillings.
