Deliciously soft and chewy cookies featuring creamy cheesecake flavors and rich salted caramel.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Creaming together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add in the brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing until well combined.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated. This mixture should be light and airy!
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in the salted caramel sauce and chocolate chips, if using.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  8. Drizzle more salted caramel on top and sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

For best results, ensure cream cheese and butter are softened, and use high-quality salted caramel sauce.
