A delightful and creamy Rose Pistachio Ice Cream that evokes memories of summer evenings and secret gardens.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
  • Pinch of salt
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and milk until well combined.
  2. Add in the aromatic rose water and a pinch of salt.
  3. Stir in the chopped pistachios and red food coloring if desired.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Check your mixture every 30 minutes for the first 2-3 hours, stirring it to break up ice crystals if using a container method.
  6. Freeze for at least 6 hours before serving.

Notes

Use cold heavy cream for better whipping. Adjust rose water to taste.
