Delightful fusion of flavors with crispy wonton shells encasing tender ground chicken and zesty slaw, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Ground chicken
  • Soy sauce
  • Green onions
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Carrots (shredded)
  • Red cabbage (shredded)
  • Cilantro
  • Lime juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil (for baking)
  • Sriracha or your favorite sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, soy sauce, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and ginger. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Take a wonton wrapper and place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center, then fold and seal.
  4. Arrange the filled wontons on a baking sheet brushed with oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  5. While the wontons bake, mix together the shredded carrots, red cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, and salt for the slaw.
  6. Once baked, fill each wonton with slaw and drizzle with Sriracha if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Seal wontons tightly to prevent leaking. They can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
