  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with eggs whisked together with milk, and a third with crushed pretzels.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast first in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with crushed pretzels.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet and fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Combine the shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise in a bowl and heat until melted and smooth.
  8. Drizzle the sauce over the cooked chicken and serve.
