Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 23 slices of pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, prepping for that toasty goodness to come.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread, ensuring that each will have that delicious golden crust once cooked.
  3. Assemble the sandwich: on the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the mozzarella cheese, add the pepperoni slices, followed by a generous spoonful of marinara sauce.
  4. Complete the sandwich by topping with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  5. Cook the sandwich in the skillet until it turns golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve hot, sliced in half, perhaps with extra marinara for dipping!
