Delightful Pistachio Brigadeiros combining white chocolate and ground pistachios for a unique twist on a classic Brazilian treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 200g white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup finely ground pistachios
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients in a Saucepan: In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chopped white chocolate. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the pan (about 10-15 minutes).
  2. Cool the Mixture: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Prepare Your Hands: Grease your hands with butter to prevent sticking.
  4. Form the Brigadeiro Balls: Scoop small portions of the mixture to form balls.
  5. Coat the Balls: Roll each ball in the finely ground pistachios until fully coated.
  6. Chill Before Serving: Place the brigadeiros on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Pistachio Brigadeiros can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. If you want to keep them longer, you can freeze them for up to 3 months.
