A warm and inviting peach cobbler recipe perfect for summer evenings.

  • 4 cups sliced peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix in another bowl the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

Choose ripe peaches for the best flavor. For gluten-free, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend.
