A comforting and crispy chicken breast coated in a golden crust of Parmesan and herbs, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then press it into the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet while frying the chicken to maintain crispiness.
