Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Orange zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the flavorful marinade by whisking together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Marinate the salmon by placing the fillets in a shallow dish and pouring the marinade over them. Ensure they are well coated and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon fillets on it, skin-side down, reserving some marinade for basting.
  5. Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
  6. Garnish with fresh orange zest before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, try adding chili flakes or ginger to the marinade. Always monitor cooking times based on the thickness of the fillets.
