A simple yet extraordinary dish that combines sweet shrimp, al dente linguine, and a rich, buttery sauce with a hint of heat from red pepper flakes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the pot and set aside.
  5. Add chicken broth or water to the pot and bring to a boil.
  6. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Drain any excess liquid and return the shrimp to the pot.
  8. Toss everything together, coating the shrimp and linguine in the sauce.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
