A warm, cheesy appetizer that combines creamy cheeses with the brininess of olives, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pitted olives, chopped (green or black)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Create the cheese mixture by combining cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, olives, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the cheese and olive mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  5. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
  7. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a little extra zing, add crushed red pepper flakes. You can also experiment with different cheeses for unique flavor twists.
