Quick and delightful chocolate chip cookies with a crispy exterior and a chewy chocolatey interior, perfect for reliving childhood memories.

  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (170 g) butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (340 g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine melted butter with both sugars and mix until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and stir well.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients carefully.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp.
  9. Cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes
