  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion, minced garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add shredded chicken, thyme, and black pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
