  1. Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until silky.
  2. Line the mini muffin cups with the melted dark chocolate, creating a thin layer.
  3. Chill the lined cups in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set.
  4. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan on low until warmed through.
  5. Combine the cream with the milk chocolate chips in a mixing bowl.
  6. Stir until the mixture is smooth and incorporate the vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the ganache into the dark chocolate-lined cups, filling nearly to the top.
  8. Chill the filled cups in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes until firm.
