A delightful twist on a classic dish, these chicken twists combine sweet mango and savory glaze for an irresistible flavor experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into strips.
  5. Place a piece of marinated chicken on each pastry strip and twist to seal.
  6. Arrange the twisted chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
