A zesty and flavorful baked tofu recipe marinated with lemon juice and herbs, perfect for salads, bowls, or wraps.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pressing the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes or slices.
  3. Mixing the marinade by combining lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Marinating the pressed tofu in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Baking the tofu on a lined baking sheet for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serving the dish in salads, bowls, or wraps with fresh herbs for garnish.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the tofu overnight. Pressing the tofu is key for texture and flavor absorption.
