A light, airy lemon dessert that captures the essence of summertime in a bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of lemon jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Zest of one lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the lemon jello in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Add cold water to the jello mixture and stir well until combined.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and lemon juice, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped cream or Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the jello mixture into the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture, folding until combined. If using lemon zest, fold it in at this point.
  6. Pour the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups, smoothing the top gently for an appealing presentation.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to set, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy your refreshing lemon fluff dessert!

Notes

Leftover Lemon Fluff can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
