A vibrant sandwich filled with layers of fresh vegetables, savory meats, and creamy provolone cheese, all drizzled with zesty Italian dressing.

Ingredients

  • 4 Ciabatta or hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
  • 2 Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Olives, sliced
  • 8 oz Salami
  • 8 oz Capicola
  • 8 oz Provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the ciabatta or hoagie rolls in half.
  2. Layer the crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, spicy red onions, zesty pepperoncini, and briny olives on the bottom half of the rolls.
  3. Add the salami, capicola, and provolone cheese over the vegetables.
  4. Drizzle with Italian dressing and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Assemble the sandwich by placing the top half of the rolls on and press down gently.
  6. Slice into portions and serve cold.

Notes

This sandwich pairs well with potato chips or a garden salad. Store leftovers tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
