Hot and Cheesy Fried Pickle Dip

A comforting and cheesy dip made with dill pickles and topped with crispy panko breadcrumbs, perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 cup dill pickle chips, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped dill pickle chips, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well incorporated.
  4. Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish or oven-safe skillet, spreading it evenly.
  5. Mix the panko breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of olive oil or melted butter until evenly coated.
  6. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the dip.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  10. Serve warm with tortilla chips, pretzels, or fresh veggies.

Notes

For a spicier kick, increase the cayenne pepper. Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
