Delicious homemade pizza rolls that are crispy and filled with gooey cheese and your choice of fillings, all made in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough (Store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Dough: Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Cut Your Dough into Squares: Slice the dough into approximately 3×3 inch squares.
  3. Stuff the Squares: Place a tablespoon of mozzarella in the center, add pepperoni slices, and top with marinara sauce.
  4. Seal the Pizza Rolls: Fold each square over to create a pocket shape, and press the edges together.
  5. Brush with Egg Wash: Lightly brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  6. Season to Perfection: Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top if desired.
  7. Preheat Your Air Fryer: Set it to 400°F (200°C) and spray the basket with olive oil.
  8. Air Fry Them Up: Cook for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Cool and Serve: Let them cool slightly and serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
