A delightful dish of noodles tossed in a savory garlic sauce, finished with toasted sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Boil your noodles in a large pot of water.
  2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until tender.
  3. Drain the noodles in a colander and rinse with cold water.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Create the sauce by stirring in soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chili paste.
  7. Simmer the sauce for 2 minutes to thicken slightly.
  8. Toss the drained noodles in the skillet with the sauce to coat.
  9. Add grated ginger to the noodles and mix well.
  10. Heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  11. Transfer the noodles to a serving dish.
  12. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
