A quick and flavorful garlic butter shrimp dish that warms the soul and pleases the palate.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Stir in chopped parsley and remove from heat.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes or cherry tomatoes. Serve over jasmine rice or pasta.
