Delightful canapés of puff pastry filled with creamy goat cheese and fresh figs, drizzled with honey and optional prosciutto.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Fresh figs
  • Goat cheese
  • Honey
  • Prosciutto (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a 14×10 inch rectangle.
  3. Spread the goat cheese evenly across the pastry surface.
  4. Slice the fresh figs into rounds and arrange on top of the goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle honey over the figs and cheese, adding herbs if desired.
  6. Roll the pastry tightly into a log.
  7. Cut the log into 1-inch pinwheels.
  8. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking. Reheat in the oven for crispy texture.
