A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu featuring creamy mascarpone, coffee-dipped ladyfingers, and fresh cherries with a touch of Amaretto.

  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/2 cup Amaretto liqueur
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coffee Mixture: In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and Amaretto.
  2. Soak the Ladyfingers: Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso-Amaretto mixture quickly.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Blend the Mascarpone: In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  5. Create the Creamy Filling: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese.
  6. Assemble the Layers: In a serving dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture, and half of the cherries. Repeat the layers.
  7. Chill in the Fridge: Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Prepare for Serving: Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and top with additional cherries.

Notes

Use high-quality espresso and Amaretto for the best flavor. Allow the dessert to chill overnight for improved flavor.
