A quick and easy recipe for a nutritious snack using edamame pods, perfect for sharing or enjoying alone.

Ingredients

  • Edamame pods
  • Salt
  • Olive oil (optional)
  • Lemon or lime (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a pot, filling it enough to cover all the edamame pods.
  2. Cook the edamame pods in the boiling water for about 5 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain the edamame and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. Flavor the hot pods with salt and optionally toss with olive oil.
  5. Garnish and serve warm or cold, adding lemon or lime juice if desired.

Notes

Leftover edamame can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
