An incredibly easy Pulled Pork Recipe that delights your taste buds and invites shared memories around the dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Mix together the minced garlic, chopped onion, paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using).
  3. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  4. Place the seasoned pork into a roasting pan, pour the chicken broth around it, and cover with foil.
  5. Cook in the oven for 3-4 hours.
  6. Remove from the oven and shred using two forks, mixing in barbecue sauce.
  7. Serve on buns or alongside favorite sides like coleslaw.

Notes

For easier cleanup, line the pan with parchment paper. Adjust cayenne pepper for desired heat.
