Juicy grilled chicken marinated in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, perfect for backyard barbecues.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the honey mustard marinade over them.
  3. Preheat your grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken: Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, aiming for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Rest and serve: After cooking, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For additional flavor, try adding garlic or herbs to the marinade. If pressed for time, 30 minutes of marinating will still impart great flavor.
