  • 1 pound kielbasa, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Skewers (if desired for easy serving)

Instructions

  1. Cut the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces and drain the pineapple chunks.
  2. Whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium bowl to create the glaze.
  3. Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the kielbasa pieces for about 5-7 minutes until they’re browned.
  4. Add the drained pineapple chunks to the skillet and sauté together for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour the prepared glaze over the kielbasa and pineapple, tossing gently to coat.
  6. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the glaze thickens.
  7. Remove from heat and thread the kielbasa and pineapple onto skewers if using.

Notes

Serve with a zesty dipping sauce and store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
