A delightful and simple dessert made with fruit pie filling and cake mix, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix (e.g., yellow or chocolate)
  • 2 cans of fruit pie filling (e.g., cherry, peach, or apple)
  • 1 stick of butter (melted)
  • 1 cup of nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup of shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a cozy 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Pour the fruit pie filling into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit filling.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Add nuts and shredded coconut on top if desired.
  7. Bake for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
