  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • Toppings: diced onions, cilantro, lime wedges, salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat until it’s shimmering.
  2. Add the shredded beef, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook until heated through.
  3. Remove the cooked beef mixture from the skillet and set it aside to keep warm.
  4. Add a little more oil if needed, and pan-fry the corn tortillas until golden and crispy.
  5. Fill each crispy tortilla generously with the shredded beef. Top with diced onions, fresh cilantro, lime juice, and salsa.
