A delightful twist on classic Caesar salad, featuring juicy marinated chicken, crispy romaine, and rich Caesar dressing all wrapped in a warm tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large tortilla wraps
  • 4 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup croutons, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk together to create a zesty marinade that infuses the chicken with flavorful goodness.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breast to the marinade, ensuring they’re coated well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Slice the Chicken: After resting, slice the grilled chicken into thin strips.
  6. Dress the Lettuce: In a large bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing.
  7. Assemble the Wrap: Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with the dressed lettuce, sliced chicken, grated Parmesan, and crushed croutons.
  8. Roll the Wrap: Carefully roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides to enclose the filling.
  9. Grill the Wrap: Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Place the wrap seam-side down in the skillet. Cook until golden and crispy.
  10. Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for longer and feel free to add additional veggies like tomatoes or cucumbers in the wrap.
