Delicious crispy asparagus spears topped with melted Asiago cheese and breadcrumbs, perfect for an appetizer or side dish.

  • 1 cup grated Asiago cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the asparagus, removing the tough ends.
  3. Beat the egg in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Dip each asparagus spear into the egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the spears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle the spears with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden.
  8. Sprinkle grated Asiago cheese over the asparagus and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
