A delightful combination of creamy cheesecake and crunchy caramelized sugar, perfect for special occasions and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup sugar for caramelizing on top

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust.
  3. Beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream until fully combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Sprinkle sugar evenly over the top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until it forms a hard, crispy top.
  10. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with fresh berries or a dollop of whipped cream. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
