A delightful creamy pasta dish with lean ground beef, Greek yogurt, and mozzarella cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set it aside, allowing it to cool slightly.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic in a large skillet with a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat until softened and fragrant.
  3. Brown the ground beef in the skillet until beautifully browned, draining excess fat if necessary.
  4. Simmer with beef broth and Italian seasoning for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Create the creamy mixture by folding in the Greek yogurt and shredded mozzarella cheese until well combined.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce, tossing well to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, serve hot.
