A comforting and delicious Crack Chicken made effortlessly in a slow cooker, bursting with flavors of ranch and creamy cheese.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by placing the breasts in the slow cooker, laying them flat for even cooking.
  2. Season the chicken by sprinkling the ranch seasoning mix generously over it.
  3. Add the cream cheese right on top of the seasoned chicken.
  4. Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it well with the cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
  6. Melt the cheddar cheese into the mixture by stirring it in until it melts.
  7. Garnish with crumbled bacon and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese. This dish can also be made gluten-free and dairy-free with appropriate alternatives.
