A simple, rich, and indulgent chocolate fudge recipe perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar, cocoa, butter, milk, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Continue boiling for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts, if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch dish and smooth the surface.
  6. Let it cool until set, then cut into squares.

Notes

Store leftover fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
