A delightful Chocolate Croissant Breakfast Bake that’s light, flaky, and filled with gooey chocolate, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish to ensure the croissant bake comes out easily once it’s done.
  2. Place the torn croissant pieces in the baking dish and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly on top.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissants and chocolate, pressing down gently.
  5. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
